Biography:

Julie Hogg is organising the 2018 ReproSoc Confernce at Murray Edwards College 27-29 June 2018.

 

Julie has a portfolio career and specialises in events and alumni engagement. She works for ReproSoc on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

 

Julie’s academic background is in education and in particular the history of girls’ education in Cambridgeshire in the 1920s and 30s, which she researched for her M.Phil Thesis at King’s College, Cambridge. She also holds a B.Ed (Hons) from Homerton College, where she read History and Education.

She is a keen rowing coach and cox having taken it up the sport at Cambridge and she currently steers for City of Cambridge Rowing Club. She has represented England (Gold 2010) and Scotland (1996) in the Home International Regatta, and was a finalist in the first Remenham (Women’s) Challenge Cup (2002) with Tideway Scullers School at Henley Royal Regatta. Julie currently coaches Caius College Boat Club.
