My name is Amy Curtis. I’m undertaking an MPhil in Sociology, The Sociology of Reproduction.
I graduated from Nottingham University in 2017 where I undertook a BSc in Adult Nursing. Since qualifying as a registered nurse I have worked at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital Trust in urology and at two private fertility clinics in London. I have worked as a senior fertility nurse in Harley Street for the last 2 years.
My research interests primarily focus on the practical elements of fertility treatment. In particular, looking at how clinicians can improve their practice in order to assist a patient through their fertility journey.
