Lidia Bueno Sánchez is a PhD candidate in Design, Management and Evaluation of Social Welfare Public Policies at the University of Valencia. She is currently a researcher at the Public Research Institute for Public Policy on Social Welfare, POLIBIENESTAR, hired through a University Teacher Training (FPU) contract subsidised by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. Since 2017, she has participated in numerous research projects in national and international competitive calls such as H2020, Justice, REC, AMIF or Erasmus+. She is a lecturer at the University of Valencia, in the degree of Social Work in the compulsory subject Research in Social Welfare Systems. Lidia is a member of the Council of the Department of Social Work and Social Services of the Faculty of Social Sciences and a member of the Council of the Polibienestar Research Institute. Her expertise focuses on public policies on social welfare of vulnerable populations, gender studies, health systems and the social impact of public policies on social welfare.

Lidia Bueno Sánchez holds a degree in Social Work with a mention in Interculturality, Cooperation and Social Exclusion from the University of Valencia and obtained the Extraordinary Award for Academic Excellence in 2016. She also holds the official title of Technician in Social Integration and has a Master's degree in Social Welfare and Family Intervention.
