ReproSoc
Eléonore Crunchant is a PhD candidate in sociology at the University of Geneva, Institute of Gender Studies. She has received a mobility grant from the Swiss National Science Foundation to be a visiting PhD student at ReproSoc from February 2023 to July 2023. She has a background in biology, philosophy and bioethics.
In her PhD on egg freezing in Switzerland and France, she uses in-depth interviews to explore how women undergoing egg freezing navigate their reproductive lives in a context of fertility precarity and infertility anticipation.
Her research interests include reproductive health, rights and autonomy, affective economies, reproductive and gender studies.
